Buttock Augmentation

Having a posterior that is disproportionately small or misshapen can negatively affect a woman’s confidence. Achieving sensual contours helps patients feel more attractive, comfortable, and happy. Patients who wish they had a more prominent and curvaceous rear may want to consider buttock augmentation, which is a procedure that enhances the size and appearance of the gluteal area using fat grafting. Patients commonly discover that their newfound confidence dramatically affects their success in other areas of life as well. Increasing the volume and reshaping the buttocks creates more definition, enhances the appearance, and provides full body contouring.

Benefits

The Benefits of Buttock Augmentation

  • Increase your buttock fullness
  • Restore balance to your physique
  • Eliminate stubborn fat deposits

Reasons for Buttock Augmentation

Glutes

Many women desire a full, shapely derriere, which is a timeless symbol of femininity and sensuality.  When the gluteal area lacks fullness, it can appear undefined and lackluster.  Buttock augmentation with fat transfer can help you have a fuller, more appealing rear.

Figure

Voluptuous curves are an essential aspect of a proportionate figure.  When the butt lacks volume in comparison to the rest of the body, it can prevent you from having a balanced silhouette.  You can reshape your backside with buttock augmentation to achieve the shapely body of your dreams.

Body Fat

Buttock augmentation with fat grafting does not just revamp the buttocks. Fat grafting improves overall body contours and augments the buttocks safely and naturally. The fat required for grafting must be harvested from problem areas using liposuction, giving you additional body sculpting.

Procedure

Buttock Augmentation Procedure

  • Liposuction is used to remove excess fatty tissue from troublesome areas of the body such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, and back.
  • The fat is then processed to eliminate unwanted oil and other tissues.
  • The fat is injected into the buttocks through three small incisions using a syringe attached to a thin cannula.
  • The fat is grafted in multiple layers to tailor the shape of the buttocks.
  • The multi-layer technique helps ensure a smooth deposit of fat.
  • All incisions are closed.
  • A compression garment is used in the weeks following surgery to facilitate healing and to help ensure optimal results.

Recovery

Immediately After

Immediately After

You will experience some bruising, swelling, and redness after the procedure.  Dr. Koch will prescribe necessary medication to manage any discomfort.  For the first two weeks following your surgery, you should avoid sitting or laying on your back at all times.

2 to 3 Weeks After

2 to 3 Weeks After

By this time, you may attempt a sitting position using a pillow to take pressure off the buttocks.  Direct pressure cannot be applied to the buttocks for at least eight weeks, as excessive force can disrupt the grafting process.

8 Weeks After

8 Weeks After

With Dr. Koch’s approval, you should be able to resume normal activities eight weeks into recovery.  Most major swelling should subside after three months, and final results will become more apparent.

Faq's

  • Is buttock augmentation painful?

General anesthesia is used during butt augmentation surgery for a pain-free experience. You may feel mild discomfort following your procedure. The added weight to the buttocks may take some time to become accustomed to. All associated discomfort can be controlled using oral pain medication prescribed by your doctor.

  • How much does buttock augmentation cost?

The cost of butt augmentation is determined on a patient-by-patient basis. Many factors, including surgical fees, anesthesia fees, the technique used, and extent of correction will affect the ultimate cost of your procedure. An exact quote will be determined during your initial consultation.

  • Will my procedure result in visible scarring?

Mild scarring is possible as a result of butt augmentation. Scarring is common at the site of liposuction and the injection site for fat transfer. Great care is taken to place all incisions in discreet locations that can easily be hidden using clothing, bathing suits, and underwear.

  • Is fat transfer permanent?

In the first year following the fat transfer, you may lose some of the initial volume as the body absorbs a portion of the transferred fat. The fat that remains is permanent and will provide you with long-lasting results.
