How would you like longer, fuller, darker eyelashes? Now there is Latisse™. This is a FDA approved prescription treatment for inadequate eyelashes, medically referred to as hypotrichosis.
The solution is applied to the upper eyelashes at bedtime after all the makeup has been removed. The Latisse™ solution will transfer to the lower eyelashes upon eyelid closure while blinking or sleeping.
Significant improvement will be seen in 6-8 weeks. The correction will peak around 6 months. If you stop the application, the eyelashes will revert to their original appearance within several weeks to a few months.
If you have been diagnosed with Glaucoma or are being treated for Glaucoma or you are at risk for developing Glaucoma you may not be a candidate for Latisse™ and should speak with your Ophthalmologist prior to instituting treatment.
Latisse™ is a safe and effective treatment proven by clinical research. However, there are possible side effects you should be aware of. 4% of the patients developed eye redness and itching. This is probable related to applying too much solution. If the solution is applied to close to the skin you may experience skin darkening, irritation, dryness or redness.
